Amed, Bali

Amed is situated in the city of Karangasam, on the far-east coast of Bali.

The area is nestled between Gunung Agung and the ocean. Amed is known for its coral reefs, spectacular snorkelling and diving locations all of which are mere meters off the beach.

Short trips from Hidden Paradise Cottages would bring you to the Tulamben WWII ship wreck, the Coral Gardens and Japanese ship wreck. Eurodive Bali is a PADI (S-6402) and SSI accredited SCUBA dive company, they are conveniently located a hundred meters from Hidden Paradise Cottages and have been operational since 1999.

SCUBA diving will get you as close to the coral and fish as a human is able to be, whether it is an introductory fun dive or doing your dive master ticket, Eurodive will have you covered (courses are available in multiple languages). If the black sand beach and ocean does not entice you, then perhaps a swim at the Tirtagangga Water Palace, hiking the hills of Amed or hiring bikes and riding through the bays is more to your liking.

The scenery of Amed is spectacular, all of which can be topped off with a stopover at Sunset Point; with Jemeluk bay below you, crystal clear view into the ocean and coral garden, the sun setting behind Gunung Agung, a more perfect and romantic location could not be found.
